I see more and more of this thread's participants have never played this sort of game. It's about the grind and they'll always find a way to make people grind it out. It's also a way to help the ones who just joined to be starting at roughly the same level as you so they aren't left behind.

I'd gladly exchange all those 70+ motes sitting in my vault to re-roll the existing Timurs Lash/Peruns Fire than to re-run the whole IB again and get to level 5 from scratch.
