So once you hit 300 thats when the constant raid grind begins if you want to hit 310 light level. Just beating the raid at this point aint really nothing, raid gear drops in all light levels from 300-310 so it's important to get a consistent raid team down for the next month or so atleast to constantly be able to upgrape gear and weapons. No blue engrams have dropped above 300 that I've seen so once you hit that level it's pretty much a wrap if youre not raiding.
PESO SQUAD used to be the move until 3 of our fire team straight up retired.... Shout out to Besu, Deph, Beignet and sometimes Based.
We got 4 members who are pretty consistent and are looking for 2-3 more on PSN who want to try and get that 310 lightlevel ASAP.
I prefer that you know the mechanics but if not, it's a must you have a lethal SNIPER & HEAVY MACHINE GUN combo... High impact ones are the ones you should be going for. Cause thats the thing man, if those weapon slots arent up to par then youre pretty much wiping the entire time.

That night was hilarious man! 3 Hunters each week and still took him damn near a month just to get 1 pair.
If there were 10 man raids you know I'd be running with ya'll for sure... Before ya'll formed an offical fire team I was in there wreckin Atheon with ya'll the first couple months Destiny dropped. The NT Destiny click just kept growing until multiple fire teams had to be formed outta this thread alone. Year 1 was dope as hell man even tho we were pretty much playing a beta.
