I never did it in high school or college and it made it much more difficult but also rewarding. It did seem like the students that cheated had it easier, though.

Bout to fail a quiz, and you have to like 10 of them, dont do it.
On your final, were your borderline passing failing, only do it if your truely messed screwed.

I usually came prepared for the exam.
On a pharmacology final, the professor brought the stack of exams in WITH the answer key on top and left for a moment, my dude went up there and read the answer key out loud, everyone in class copied it down on the nearest piece of paper. We all agreed to not get any 100s, keep it believable. The dude that was basically failing got a 98.

Damn when I was in school, teachers didn't even allow bathroom breaks during tests/quizesOriginally Posted by socluis90
iPhone the first year it came out was perfect for cheating. So ahead of its time that teachers wouldnt notice it. I'd email myself my notes. If it got really bad I'd take a bathroom break and re read everything really quick. Haven't cheated since though. Not worth the risk.

It's true that if you smear the lines, the machine won't mark anything wrong, but it also won't mark the test at all.Originally Posted by JayPesoz

On the left side of most scantrons that I know of, there are black
lines next to question numbers. My hypothesis is that these black lines
tell the machine where to scan. I don't know how it works, but it does,
but not as often to create a great advantage. It works about 25%-30% of
the time. I suppose coupled with actual guessing, this does add to the
probability of getting a correct answer. This is my recommended hack.
This is the hack that will work more often than any other. Do it only on
the ones you can't answer.
Linky
Same dude says the chapstick thing doesnt work
