the 2 things i mainly want to do at galaxy's edge is build a lightsaber and hit up oga's cantina. i hope i don't spend most of my 4 hours waiting in line for these.

i think as long as you head to the lightsabers first and get a reservation or return time and then cantina while you wait and you'll have plenty of time

The cantina had reservations, too, so ask about it at the same time. They weren't taking walk ins at the cantina, it was reservation only.

Did anybody rent a car while at the Disneyworld resorts?

I want to take my daughter there. I'm from Mississippi. I'd have to take a flight. Then book a hotel, 4 days-5 nights?, then a hotel of course, park tickets for the two of us for those days. I'm clueless about where to stay and where to take her. She's 8.dont want any fancy hotel, but since I've never been there, I don't know where to even start looking to book something!! Anyone have any experience that can help me out?? How much do you think I'd spend? Of course, I'm not trying to break the bank. Any help would Def be appreciated.

Agreed, and I get a black blade would be hard to do but damn that would have been cool. Only Cat walking around the park with a black blade. Cast members react different to you. The whole shabang.

I don't think that's too bad. 4 people?? All expense paid? I'll have to remember to factor in the ride from the airport on arrival and back as well on my part.

My original quote for my entire family + 5 nights + character breatfast + max pass and park hoppers + Disneyland hotel was around $5k. I went through a few places including Disney itself, Costco, and something else.
My wife just so happened to have a friend who has use Hilarie a few times so I sent her an email. She originally sent back a Quote of mid to high $3k. Best deal for the family so I took it. But over the course she would hit me up and let me know she is always looking for a deal. Well I booked months in advance and she found me 2. I think the whole trip cost around $2,500.
She save me 40-50%.

did both. Depends on where you going to be staying. on my first trip, we didn't have a car, our hotel have a shuttle that will take you to each park. When we were more further out, we rented a car didn't really explore the city just went to the outlet then head to the park.
Uber wise, we took it to go to the park from the convention center, cost around 20 dollars i think. If you are ubering, try to get a ride away from the park or take a shuttle that will take you to a hotel then get an uber. trying to find your uber driver in a disney park is meh.
