You can now get married under the Tree Of Life at Disney World

If you’ve ever visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom, chances are you took a snap of your squad in front of the Tree of Life, a 145-foot sculpture of a baobab tree with carvings of animals on its trunk. At night, rainbow-like projections make it appear as if some of the animals come to life.

This magical setting will be one of the three new wedding venues at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Lush greenery and exotic flowers surround the space already so that’s one less thing that brides-to-be have to worry about! The lucky couple in the photographs scored the first Tree of Life wedding as part of “Disney’s Fairytale Weddings,” a six-episode series featuring 11 couples, on Freeform.

The other new wedding venues include a 750-acre pine forest (with a gorgeous view of the Seven Seas Lagoon) at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Chinese Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We could totally see the theatre for a glam, old Hollywood theme. (Hello, red carpet!) But we’re still swooning over the Tree of Life. So if you’re planning on tying the knot or renewing your vowels, you’ve got your dream destination. And if your friends or family are getting hitched, share this sweet spot with them! It would be amazing just to be a guest.

Go to Disneyland with my wife last night for a 6 night stay. Staying at the Grand Californian with a DTD view. Watched the fireworks from our balcony last night with a drink in hand. Amazing view and the start of what should be an awesome trip.

Specialty Foods and Beverages Announced for The Haunted Mansion 50th Anniversary at Disneyland Park, Available Starting August 9th

Disneyland is getting ready to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland park! Disneyland chefs have created a spooky array of delightfully delicious offerings just for the occasion. These offerings will be available starting August 9, 2019.

FRONTIERLAND & CRITTER COUNTRY

• Rancho del Zocalo: The Long Forgotten Duelist Tacos – two fry bread tacos featuring grilled fajita beef and braised butter chicken served with Mexican rice and pickled vegetables
• Hunny Spot: Haunted Mansion Crispy Treat

• New Orleans Churro Cart: Bride Churro – elegantly-dressed churro in a bouquet of vanilla and sugar
• Critter Country Churro Cart: Groom Churro – classic churro dressed in a duo of dark and milk chocolate

HUNGRY BEAR RESTAURANT (Available through Aug. 25, Mobile Ordering available via the Disneyland App)

• Dead-cadent Funnel Cake – house funnel cake with a decadent brownie, white chocolate raspberry ice cream and chocolate pearls
• The Caretaker – crispy pork belly seasoned with house spices, layered with BBQ sauce, grilled onions, cheese sauce, house-made pickle, and crispy slaw, and served on a potato roll with french fries

In addition to these scary good offerings, there will be even more eerie eats available exclusively at both of the “The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving” after-hours events on August 7 and 8. Chow down on the cheddar cheese “Foolish Mortal” Popcorn with spicy cheese puffs or cool off with the Doom Buggy Sundae: a cream-filled sponge cake encased in funnel batter dusted with chocolate “graveyard grounds” and topped with white chocolate raspberry ice cream, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream. Or for a savory option, see into the future with Madame Leota’s Awakening Biscuits and Grave-y featuring buttermilk biscuits with prosciutto and blackberry jam buried in andouille sausage gravy. Those items and more will be available on event nights only, and all locations and offerings are subject to change.

The actually got to ride Peter Pan with my kids for the first time ever...Wait was like 10 minutes if I remember right...Basically a walk on for that ride...Should’ve taken a picture for posterity since who knows when I’ll ever see that again ...

Stayed on Hyperspace Mountain for back to back ride through because there wasn’t hardly anybody in line...Same for Star Tours...Three times we got on Indiana Jones with wait times that said 20 minutes but by the time we walked through the rise queue we were next...

Hasn’t been this slow in well over a decade...
