Hit the park yesterday first day of the r new season. I wish the app would track how many days you’ve gone or list past rsvp dates. In any case rope dropped DCA. Hit 4 rides before 10. I forgot how good soarin’ was. I think the last time i did it was years ago and it was soarin CA i think. I like the smells they throw in. Hands down probably my favorite ride now.
Grabbed the steak breakfast burrito. Solid 10/10. The smoky salsa they give you is great but we usually have a bag of tapatío packets lol
Did some more rides took our time walking around DCA. At 1030 headed to the cervecería for the new gyoza bun and paired it with the seltzer. Bun was 7/10. Dipping sauce added a good citrusy twist but i wasn’t a fan of the stuffing. It was good but something just didn’t hit right. Also picked up this Sulley just cuz
Made our way to Dland around 11ish. We werent that hungry since the burrito was hella filling so we walked around. Yesterday was a good day crowd wise. Still busy but nothing like it’s been last few weeks. They had that big old setup in the front for the procession and choir. I guess Brie Larson was the guest speaker. It was cool but we knew we weren’t gonna make it past 3
Yesterday was the first day of the candy canes. They have a mobile queue you can sign up for in person but only if you’re in the park that’s doing the distribution that day. Couldn’t score a place to grab one buuuuuuut $24 for a candy cane may be where i draw the line lol
The wife wanted a holiday popcorn bucket and i wanted that holiday mix so we headed to Haunted Mansion and grabbed some
Had to head to Pooh’s corner and snag some pics with him and Eeyore
Also we decided to get on the Pooh ride when halfway through it broke down lol
We had to get escorted out the ride. Overall a good Sunday. Weather was great and crowds were tolerable.
We were so full when we left that we didn’t use our Festival Of holiday pass but we got a rsvp for the 14th so we’ll munch out then. Plus imma take some plastic containers to bring some home lol

Dland breakfast foods are top tier. And that’s that i haven’t been to carnation cafe yet

We tried for the carnation cafe bit apparently they're booked out for a while. Resd for January, though.
