Do you discuss how much money you have with anyone outside your family or immediate circle?

Usually the 1st thing i bring up when im getting to know someone.
people want to be your friend when your rolling in $$ like me

I don't make much, but its more than most in my "circle" so I don't really like discussing it.

I know how much some of my friends make and I know how much some have in savings.

It annoys me when they discuss it in front of me, I just let it rock, don't wanna seem bitter.

My mom knows how much I make bc shes a nib @%%@. My roommate does too jus bc hes looking for a job and I let him know how much we make where I work. But no one but me and the bank know how much $$ I have saved up. Thats no ones business but my own

never talk about money...not with my parents, siblings, girlfriend, not even allowed to discuss it with my co-workers...hell not even the bank because i use more than
one bank...and keep cash stashed...folks just assume i have money despite never bragging or discussing it.

MY MOMS DONT EVEN KNOW. JUST THE PEOPLE WHO PAY ME AND SOME OF THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH KNOW (this was not by choice, you work with someone at the same spot for long enough, its gonna happen)

The only person I discuss money with, besides my wife, is my mom. She's good with money and helps me plan/invest.

Letting people know what you have is a good way to lose it, QUICKLY. I've seen and heard of too many people getting jacked and 9 out of 10 it's by someone they know.

i'm blessed, but there are a lot of people i know that are in bad financial situations, so i never bring up how much i make. i play it real modest. don't want to make anyone feel bad. i'm not a flashy chick either, so no one really knows except my mom, my grandmother, and my aunt. my aunt only knows because she is caking and she knows i'm trying to get to her level, so we discuss money, but friends, and extended family, no..... well, one of my friends, we discuss it a lot because we always talk about getting money and investments and stuff.

My girl knows my base salary and how much student debt I have.
We've been together for a good period of time though; almost to the point where we will share finances.
and I dont want to mislead her by having her think Im all good.
She doesn't know how much I invest or am insured for though. Or who gets paid if I die.
My cousin is one of the only people (besides myself) to graduate from college in my fam so he knows what salary range Im in
We discuss career paths/plans together.
My dad keeps his ear to the markets and gives me investment advice.

No one knows anything else though.
And know one knows my commission structure though.

Almost everyone is 2 weeks from broke so I tend to keep my mouth shut.

im in the army, you cant hide how much you make in here... everybody knows how much you make... especially if u get a bonus everbody knows when its going to cash out in to your bank account.. you are like a big walking check waiting to get knocked off.....

but the only person who knows how much i got is my dad... he is my financial advisor
