But I don't curse at work or around people I know don't curse.

I am the same way. Time and place for everything. If I am with the fellas, cursing is second nature. If I am with family or kids are around or with elderly people, then no.

people who can't stop cursing or have filthy language especially in public just look so uncivilized imo. there's a time and a place for everything

My parents were super strict on swear words.
Growing up I'd get scolded for saying "Crap".

So when school came around, it was no holds barred.
