Mostly just the branding, but they have a different poron insole on Brooks model, and some Brooks models have the combination rubber sole on top of the leather sole

I thought just branding and the insole did look a little different.
Thanks again for mentioning this. I missed out the first time glad I could get something this time. Saved $593 from retail price. Simply can't beat that.
I'm still SMH for buying Walnut Strands for retail before I knew about this thread. Could've got them so much cheaper. Feel like they are always on sale.

Edit: This dude Nate on the phone was pretty hasty. He messed up my order the first time he read it back. Then said he had to check on one pair because it was in store. He said he'd call me back and let me know. I emailed to confirm order...no response. Whole transaction went so fast. I feel like I'm not gonna get order confirmation, or shipping confirmation, and they're just gonna show up one day

SS is great but if you need alterations (you will) you'll run over budget. Taxes in NY alone will put you over $500.
Perhaps wait a bit until jcrew factory hits a sale then buy from them for around $200 and put the excess funds towards altering.

This was the list I was given. This was for 7.5 D though. If you call them up you can give them your size and email and ask them to send a list for you. Or you can check some of the shoes out on the list below and then call and inquire about sizing.

Yeah I was torn between monk straps and loafers since I don't have either right now. Figured loafers would be better since I'm just starting to expand my dress footwear. I'll wait a little before the monk straps.
