Thanks fellas, quality on the suit is subpar, but for 150$ what do you expect, least the fit is cool, so if you need a suit last minute and on a tight budget don't overlook H&m

Well I didn't want to announce this but Serg, unfortunately, he was the only person that didn't receive anything during our DBNT SS. I have been trying to get in touch with his Elf and I promised that I'd keep up with it and keep him updated. I fully intend on making it right.

I am adhering to my original policy of not revealing that information on NT as there could be any number of legitimate reasons that his partner hasn't responded to communication. I'd hate to tarnish someone's reputation under preconceived notions, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

It's an unfortunate situation and it's making me rethink doing this again. Or at least opening it up to others outside of our normal group.

Thanks man. Any idea if and when shell might be on sale again? I went with a couple of calf MTOs instead of the shell strands during the RDA, but now I'm kind of wishing i hadn't passed up on them

Quick reply...Saul xxIronManxx did get me my SS gift, it just came late. It actually came in on Monday of this week. He sent it during the holiday season but with me being out of the country it was sent back to him. It arrived on Monday.

In the package and pics later as I have a class to teach in 2 minutes, but just wanted to let everyone know that I did and not have anyone here a get a bad rap.

Fellas...I trust you all had Great Christmas' and New Years'...(damn I need to visit her more often again lol- I'm going to return to posting form this month)

So I'm in the market again for a suit.

Going the bespoke route again.

I'm looking at a wool Navy Blue Business 3-piece. The issue that I have right now is this. The shoes that I have are black, and a lighter brown. I want to be able to wear the suit with a lighter brown shoe cause it will give me more tie and pocket square options in my opinion, and I also want to be able to wear it with a black shoe + black tie for low key formal meetings. I'm wondering what horn buttons should I look at so that I can wear the suit with brown shoes and black shoes?

Tortoise shell looks nicer with brown shoes.
Black looks best with black shoes.
I want something in between. I don't know the color, but there's a whitish marble color I've seen which looks nice, but it's too light.

Any ideas?

are tall tees making a comeback? Obviously with some modifications, shorter sleeves and more fitted in the shoulders and length is a few inches shorter. A few years ago it was baby gap XS vneck tees, now longer slouchier tshirts are gaining momentum. I like the baggy shirt look much better.

The drappier look is in but it only looks good if you're fit otherwise love handles and beer bellies will be shown through the silhouette.

haha yea i know they aren't exactly the tall tees from the early 2000 era, but the new trend of slouchier shirts reminded me of them. Funny how being in shape can stand out more or look better in slouchier clothing. The drape of clothing is underrated, and is often lost in skin tight fits IMO.
