What's the consensus on 1 button suits? Can they be worn to the office and do you have any picstures/store links to some nice fitting 1 button suits.

Or should they be stricly for tuxedo/black tie events?

Thanks in advance.
1 buttons are do-able. Dunhill has a mean 1 button i've been meaning to snag for a while, but the price hasnt been right. If just has to fit really well, since it is less forgiving than a 2 or 3 button. Its definitely something nice to have in your rotation of suits, but shouldnt be the first suit you buy.

check out the Sale section on JCrew.com, since the winter collection is coming soon alot of good stuff is on sale. They update their sale section on the website like every day with something new. They have Belstaff jackets, Sperry boat shoes, Red Wings, alot of shirts and sweaters. Got me that Belstaff for only $200 sweet...even though they have that Free Labor day shipping right now, buy any crewcut item like a toy and get Free Shipping and just return the car at any j. crew store.

Thanks Nii. It is definately not my first suit. Do you have a picture of example of how it's supposed to fit? And what do you mean by less forgiving?

I've been following this thread A LOT recently....and I have a question....

"boat shoes" in general, but particularly Sperry's...I know that generally they are considered to be a spring/summer shoe.

With that being said, are they considered to be inappropriate (for lack of a better term) to wear in the fall with some khakis in a business casual setting?

I've got my eye on a nice, fairly plain brown leather pair (tan-*%$ sole, not white) but dont know if they'll be considered out of season. I'd strictly be wearing this pair to the office.

I am an avid J.Crew fan, and have tried on the Cadet Jackets. I'm 6'0, Waist 32/33 and I wear a M. Hope that helps you a bit . . .

i do get tired ... and sometimes go for weeks without any pics. i am on another board where we have a WAYWRN thread, so its become second nature to take pics. I just post them here because it doesnt take me much to copy the links and post them.

As far as what i do and drive, i think i've said it before several times in this thread. I am definitely no baller and hope that is not the effect coming across. I shop a lot on discounts, at outlets, thrift stores occassionally etc.

Zara.com is up and running with better lay out and you can view what they have better.
I don't think you can buy anything there yet but you can see what they are offering for the season.

so I just bought a light gray suit. I realize it is a very neutral color and can be worn with most colors, but I was curious to see what other shirt/tie combos NT can come up with.

I'm looking for some slim-fit tapered khakis, I wore my previous Dockers less than 10 times and I already outgrew them. I can't seem to find ones that are tapered nicely to about a 8" hem.

Comments on fit? Sorry for bad lighting.

I want to shorten the sleeves just a tiny bit but am open to other comments/criticisms
