Doesnt have to be a v-neck crew necks are fine and the point of the tie is to accent your outfit just because you cant see the whole tie doesnt mean it shouldnt be there. Just got a similar vest plan on pulling off this look
Someone PLEASE point me in the direction of where I can buy that vest.

x2

i need that vest or one similar to it

That vest can be found on the landsend canvas site. Just follow this link: http://canvas.landsend.co..._0000002205&origin=index
^^ is the recommendation to size down one on this vest also?....it appeared to be the consensus for the "Men's Regular Down Vest": http://www.landsend.com/pp/DownVest...W&CM_MERCH=IDX_00001__0000000053&origin=index

I think ordering your regular size would be fine. I've ordered from landsend canvas before. I noticed that Lands end canvas seems to be more true to size than regular landsend clothing. I suggest that you contact customer service for some measurements.

shabooyah, you're better off losing the tie and loosening your collar. unless you have a solid navy tie, it would work nicely.

I'd say go a size down from your shirt size. I usually wear a Large in shirts, I ordered a Large in the blue/green plaid vest and it was too big. The medium fit me perfectly.

Nobody really said that it MUST be a V-Neck. In his situation and what he was wearing. A vneck would do it more justice. ^^ that is fly. but it doesn't get that cold here

I know Im saving this fit for an extreme cold houston day weather here is RANDOM!!!!

I stay in Dallas and I know exactly what you mean. Moody cities for sure!

they didn't have my size, only one sz 8 left. Now that I think about it, should have copped and made an easy $50.

Old Navy may not be as high end, but I'm gonna see if they have a black vest instead. Despite being on sale 47 shipped is still too pricey for me

Here's a camo one I'm looking into, I'd pick up a black one too if they had it:
