People forget act like super teams are new.

Duncan and Kobe toyed the idea with forming their own super teams.

Lakers would have had a super team if David Stern didn't block the original CP3 trade because Dan Gilbert and other small market team owners started crying about it after coming off the last NBA lock out.

Right before last season?

Aldridge
Blake
Cousins

Arguable. I thought Cousins was a center? It depends what you prefer but I'd take peak Love over Aldridge. And Blake only really had been turning it up the last year or so since he got that lil mid range going. At one point Love was a 30 and 15 guy a lot of nights. Then there's that 3 point shot too

nearly everyone thought love was the best pf in the game before he went to the cavs. I personally did as well.

He was.

He can still put up numbers too and puts up nice lines despite not being in the flow of the offense. He will always be a great rebounder.

Except..

Kevin Love is a defensive liability.

MAJOR difference.
Kevin Love's defense might be up there with Hardens.

Anyone who thought Kevin Love was the best Power Forward in the league before he joined the Cavs should have there heads examined.  Kevin Love was the King of Hollow stats.  He put up big numbers that didn't amount to anything or have an impact on the outcome of the games. Bosh, Blake, Cousins (Then a PF and C) and Aldridge were ahead of him because of their impact on the actual games played. Anthony Davis was coming up as well.

People should have their heads checked because they don't agree with your cute opinion? OKAY.

Blake could barely do anything besides dunking, Davis wasn't there yet, Bosh was playing third fiddle and Aldridge had Lillard. Who did Love have? Man you can't tell me Love wasn't that dude

Blake could barely do anything besides dunking,
Not true at all. He's been more than that for about 3 years now, and he came into the league with borderline elite handles for position, and was a great rebounder since day 1. (That obviously has fell off a bit)

Love is garbage. He cant play against San Antonio or Golden State. Trade him for Mccollum like yesterday if Portland will do thay

Love would score all of his points up until the 4th quarter.  When the 4th quarter came he was 41st in the league in 4th quarter scoring. How do you explain this?  He has always had hollow stats.  His overall impact on the outcome of the game was pretty minor for an all-star player.  He is exactly who was then... right now.  A good, unreliable in the clutch player.  He isn't worth the money the Cavs paid him.

love was never the best pf in the league.  defense is too important at that position.  he can shoot and makes great outlet passes.

lol, so Steph in 6 months is better than a guy who has gone to the finals as long as he's been a player in the league.

Steph doesn't even have the hardware to compare with LBJ. But because some of you hate him, there's always some ridiculous excuse for why he's "overrated".

Ya'll need to check the hate at the door.
