I drive about 9000 miles a year. I think I'm leasing my next car. I like driving a new every every 2 or 3 years as is. Eventually I'm going to like a car that depreciates quickly.

It's partially a joke, I just see the worst ones. I saw a middle aged woman recently with what I kinda hope were her initials on her plates...VAG. Seriously.

But I'm saying I'll think some kid with PIMPIN on his plates is more likely a douche or trying too hard than someone driving a 3-series.

I know far more 40 yo boring couples who drive a 3-series because it's a PRACTICAL and cozy car for their needs than baby baller young dudes trying to stunt in one. Nobody my age even really cares about cars--we live in major cities and worrying about what you drive was so high school. We off that. A sick apartment or a promotion or going to a T14 law school is what we on. Worrying about whips is comical to me. I might worry if the Uber car smells like Indian food but that's about it.

clearly you dont live in LA out here all the respected professionals and people doing it pushing big boy whips but some are also humble and push economical or old whips

but seeing a doctor pushing a base model  entry lvl benz is kind of funny and it wouldnt be a good look if he was trying to get into any business ventures (prospective clients and partners would look at him like hes a fronter oh hes a doctor pushes a benz but the cheapest model didnt even bother to pay the extra few thousand for a better car) all it shows them is hes too cheap to get a better car and too good for more economical brands with more luxury features

i mean what kind of serious defense is there for a doctor pushing a c300? oh he wanted to save money but he could do that with a c250 or get more value in a c350

i mean pretty much all it says i want a benz but i dont want to pay for a benz  which is OD corny on a "cardiologist"

and again i personally dont care what people drive a car is just to get you from point A to point B but i am an enthusiast and can respect cars and i see the c350 the 335 offer way more value than their counterparts

its like if i was buying jordans and had the option to pick between one made of canvas or one made of leather for 30$ more

if im already dropping 100+ on shoes i might as well get the leather one for a little bit more

I like the way the 3 series BMWs look.

The lines and styling are nice to me.

like the way the new IS looks too.

But ES's and G whatevers just look too much like shined up versions of the cars they share a platform with and the driving experience just isn't different enough.

I saw a debadged murdered out Altima with some aftermarket wheels and I was shocked when I realized it wasn't an Infiniti. I just feel if you are spending that premium on an automobile you should at least get drastically different styling cues from the "lower" level version.

If you're talking about the G sedan, then there is no "downscale" equivalent in Nissans lineup

Looks are one (subjective) thing, but if you're referring to technical specs or performance (you might not), then yourre not very well versed in auto knowledge. The G has much to offer over Nissan sedans and offers a very different drive experience (especially the rwd sport trims)

hyundai is bout to unveil an updated sonata soon, the bodylines in disguise look real promising. im just sayin

all i gotta say is though. car doesnt make the man, an live within your means

my car payment is cheaper than a pay of foams an i overpay that &$^%# an its hooked up already.
