entry level luxury cars.... EDIT: I DO NOT want one. just want people's opinion.

A base C-Class with no options is not better than a fully loaded accord or maxima.

Ive had C Classes as loaners and the fully loaded C with AWD was cool, but that base model with no options kind of sucked.

Infinitis and Acuras are driven by baby ballers in Chicago and Detroit. I don't know anyone with real money swerving in those. 100% douchebags each and every one of them.

"American Express Centurion Card holders – those people who are rich enough that they are offered a “Black Card” with a nearly unlimited line of credit and a host of other niceties – buy Hyundais at a disproportionately high rate compared with other cars. Indeed, 6% of Black Card holders say they have a Hyundai in the garage. That’s tied with Bentley and Audi. Others on the list: BMW is tops with 22%; then Mercedes with 21%; Porsche with 15%; Lexus, 11%; Ferrari, 8%; and Acura, 7%. That puts a lot of interesting brands below it."

Stunting wise it is cause some people don't care about anything as long as it has the badge and standard stuff like a/c, leather, everything else they can leave it. Personally I don't have no problem cause IRL dudes for the most part will tell you they copped something for the badge and don't care about it. They worried about the girls that usually only see the logo or having something better than most in their eyes but I'm no self esteem killer so I say let em do them.

for those who complain about entry level luxury cars, you must not have driven them. A "C" class is a great car, a 328 has a 260 hp engine with great handling and a beautiful inside. The insecurity in this thread is amazing, hell the BRZ is an INCREDIBLE car. Most of you probably haven't even driven these cars, but when you do you will realize how immature you are being. I know many people who can go buy a ferrari in cash like its buying a pack of gum, but they don't. They choose more practical cars, i have driven and have had my family own some great cars but my sisters c230 with upgraded suspension drives just as well as all of them. When i am 23-24 i will be looking at my next car, i will more than likely buy a A4, 328 or a C300. Does that make me a dumb person for not opting for the s4 , m3 or c63 that i will be able to afford?

Are you kidding me?

Of course it does.

not srs.

:lol

I don't knock anyone who buys entry level luxury new. Luxury has to start somewhere. Used entry level luxury though? Nah.

Now a person who buys used "higher end" luxury with the intention to stunt and not for practical purposes are the people who look foolish to me
. If you are going to do it, then DO IT. If you buy used luxury, you are basically saying you can't really do it.

Obviously there is a market for used luxury, but to me the whole idea of having a luxury car would mean having a new luxury car. If I couldn't purchase a new luxury car I would much rather have a new economy car (Honda, Toyota) than an older higher end luxury car. I don't want any parts of older luxury car maintenance, or want to pretend like I am doing it when I know I'm really not.
:lol :lol

so its either brand new out the shipping line or bust when it comes to luxury whips? cant cop a 2011 m7? only the 2013?

One more thing, comparing entry level cars to Nikes and Jordans isnt a good comparison. It is pretty much a fact that Nike/Jordan makes the best looking sneakers of all the brands. Theres no luxury car makers with that distinction of making the best looking cars by a wide margin.

People buy shoes for the look/design as much as for the function.

A car can lose up to 30% of it's value when it rolls off the showroom and a further 15-20% whenever the keys switch hands. Let someone else take the plunge of buying new; then scoop it up a year or two later with more money in your pocket.

The psychology and location behind car purchases is fascinating. In Germany they offer a 316, 318, 320, 330, 335 and the M3 + some diesel variants (see they don't even offer the "lower" half of the lineup in the US). German's are very pragmatic about the purchase of their cars. Petrol is very expensive so some people just go for the most efficient engine. In addition base level in Germany doesn't have a radio and no climate control. Also the car will have cloth seats with a manual gearbox. People don't buy these cars to stunt because you don't get props for the badge over there. This is why they don't offer all the options over here like they do over there (every BMW over there is built to buyer spec so the odds of seeing two identical cars is slim to none). A lot of emotional decision making in the US. I'm willing to bet the cardiologist had a good reason to buy the C300. The sound of closing a door on a Toyota is not the same of that of any Mercedes, straight like that. The engineering approach is not even comparable.

BMW definitely doesn't bring those super low wrung

3 series because they dont have to worry about

"Prestige" over there like they do over here.

They got benz & bimmer cabs over there.

And also, what is the difference between a fully loaded camry and base entry level luxury?

Not much, especially when you compare FWD entry

Level luxury to a fully loaded maxima, altima, avalon,

Camry, accord, impala, taurus.

Da distinction goes COMPLETELY on its head if

You compare a FULLY loaded Dodge Charger

To a full size entry level base model bare bones

RWD Luxury car.

The problem with entry level luxury,no optoons, is that you pay a premium for the luxury brand but you are not getting features that you cant get in a fully loaded non luxury car. The whole purpose of buying luxury is to get features that you cant get in a non luxury car.

was about to say this

no shots at stillin at all

but ninja callin a car a bm car is actually not an opinion, its a proven fact particular models are marketed towards particular demographics

He's knocking the car because it's not what he defines as a Ninjahood approved whip

I bought it because I wanted something small and to get around in bad weather

This guys idol drove a pink Range which is cool to him; compact SUV's are the future hence the heavy Evoque advertising on NFL programming last season. They are targeting young males as well now hence the popularity of the Evoque and Ford Escape being a #1 seller this past year.

Dont put words in my mouth young man, its a proven

Fact certain cars are made for women aka

Said this 100 times already & on top of that you pay

MORE for LESS.

Again you don't seem to understand I don't care about your opinion

You go live your life of buying sneakers, taking advantage of your mom when she clearly wants you out of the house and I'll live my life of making my own way and driving BM Evoques and slow BRZ's

And then you wonder why people attack your character. You're insulting a man's car because demographics show more woman might buy said car. Last time I checked, cars dont have penises or vaginas. They have four wheels, doors, a chassis, engine, etc. When I pick a car, I don't check to see what sex buys the car more. I see many women driving muscle cars, older range rover hse's escalades, etc. Does that mean I should stay away?
Range Rover Evoque Named Women’s World Car of the Year for 2012
The Women’s World Car of the Year award brings together female journalists from 12 different countries, and this year they chose the Range Rover Evoque as their overall winner.

The women grouped their voting into four categories: family car, luxury car, sports car and economy car. The car with the most overall points went on to win the overall title, and for 2012 that car is the sporty and luxurious Evoque.

Available in both a 3-door coupe-style as well as a more conventional 5-door crossover, the Evoque is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder making 240 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque and is priced from $43,995.

The top family car of the year was the BMW 3-series, which seems a little skewed towards European tastes, as only four of the 17 judges on the panel are from North America. The Range Rover Evoque also won the award for Top Luxury Car, and the best sports car as rated by the women was the Porsche 911. For top economy car of the year,  the women chose the Honda Civic.

The two runners up in the overall points category were the Audi Q3 in third, and the BMW 3-series in second.

The Volkswagen Up! won the world car of the year award for 2012 as voted on by 66 auto journalists worldwide.

The iconic British brand is teaming up with the equally iconic British car maker to design the interiors of the new Evoque soft-roader.

Read more about the Range Rover Evoque here.

The celebrity formerly known as Posh Spice will reportedly spend 20 days each year at Range Rover’s design studio advising on how to make its cars more chic.

The deal was apparently announced at the unveiling of the Evoque, the smallest Range Rover ever, in London.

Fittingly, the launch was done in conjunction with fashion bible Vogue, and the guest list was packed with celebrities and fashionista.

"This is a very exciting collaboration," Beckham said at the launch. "The classic British heritage of Range Rover and the effortless style, quality and beauty is something I truly admire and also what I hope to achieve with my own brand. I am honoured to take on this role and be part of the creative team."

Beckham is no stranger to cutting edge design. As well as wearing all the latest designer threads, she already has her own fashion label.

"Victoria Beckham is a talented British fashion designer and is extremely knowledgeable about great design and trends," Range Rover chief designer Gerry McGovern said.

"Victoria understands luxury products - she is a Range Rover fan and has been a Range Rover owner for many years. Her fashion business is now in its third year and her designs are loved by critics and bought by many of the most stylish women in the world. I believe this appointment adds a new dimension to my design team as we continue to design products to appeal to a wider audience."

The Evoque is the third model in the Range Rover line-up, sitting below the Range Rover Sport and classic Range Rover.

since we're talking bout facts and all...

Again how many times are you going to say the same thing; only for me to tell you that I don't care?

There wouldn't be any muscle cars if it wasn't for women buying the 6 cylinder base models.
that goes MORE then double more da M series/ AMG series...

and for da record, muscle cars/pony cars weren't ever designed for women, they were designed for young world war II veterans coming back

with money to burn wanting a fun sporty car, and one of da big 3 lifted da restrictions of having a big block v8 into a midsize car.
