It was a massive mistake by Merc... they admitted it... Lewis accepted it... even Nico acknowledged that he was very lucky... yet, reading some of the comments on FB & Twitter, I've come to the conclusion (probably to no one's surprise) that sports fans are idiots.  Their inability to process stuff reasonably never ceases to baffle me.  

And some of these so-called "Mercedes fans"... those who only root for Lewis and cheer when Nico has an issue... are pretty pathetic.
