F1 Official Thread - Grand Prix of Britain

the alpha tauri is actually nice af, I guess now I know not to trust the initial unveiling

While I was never a Schumi fan, there's a nice bit of nostalgia seeing MSC back on the timing screen.

Anyone see how huge the Alpine Airbox is?

That airbox is thicccc

can someone explain the purpose of that glow in the dark looking paint some teams had on the rear of their cars? I know McLaren had some and Aston did too.

damn that's hella interesting, has anyone broken down what the Mercedes floor is about yet? looks crazy

I don't think you can ever break down how individual car parts work on each car. It's an entire package... taking the Merc floor and putting it on the RBR car won't work. We know what it's for, of course, but we won't know how it actually works unless you're an aerodynamicist.

It's bulking season for the Alpine jeez

Alpha Tauri with the white wheel rims is looking sublime.

I know we shouldn't read too much into testing and whatnot, but Yuki looked pretty solid today, only half a second off of Alpha Tauri's times in Q3 in Bahrain last November.
