F1 Official Thread - Grand Prix of Britain

Mercs are great saturday cars but cant put it together on sundays.

Kimi adding another one to his greatest hits

Lol @ Kimi... But really he didn't need to do that.

Great race by Checo, but Romain!!!

Congratulations to Seb, just in a league of his own. Quite weird to see the season wrapped up this early (compared to the last 3 seasons which were decided by a point).

Tough to watch Kimi's tyres going off the cliff and literally dropping him down the field in a matter of laps. :smh: Guess he was frustrated by it.

Merc ahead of Ferrari in the points now, too. Mark has got to be the unluckiest driver on the grid this season. Might be on track leave F1 DC-style at this rate. :\

Good drives for Romain, Perez, and Ricciardo this race. Looks like Daniel will do well at RBR next season.

Kimi had a fuel problem as well so that compounded his problems!

Well, it seemed like everybody had a problem except Seb. Best driver of the day. Best driver of the season.

Now, if we could just get a different race winner for the last remaining races of the season... :nerd: Hopefully Mark gets a win. Given his track record this season... it seems kinda ironic he's going into endurance racing next year.

^ Exactly.  I'm seeing comments on the internet on how ridiculous the FIA is, but this time I'm agreeing with the.  He ultimately did break parc-ferme rules... there's no dancing around that.  The FIA were just trying to be consistent and fair.  Just cuz it's his 4th title doesn't mean that he doesn't have to follow the rules.  The FIA did their job, but took the sensible decision to penalize them with a light fine.

Can't believe it took F1 this long to get those swiveling on-board cameras. IndyCar has had those for a while now -and those rotate fully. :smh:
