Still remember watching live and my heart sinking fearing the absolute worst once it became a flaming wreck only to see him rise and climb out and over the safety barrier through the flames like a phoenix after something like a dozen seconds which felt like forever.

I remember how unpopular it was during the concept stage and when it was first introduced but the halo really might be the best safety innovation we've ever seen in F1.

It's been a literal life saver and I'm grateful for its inception.

I think most ppl watching that race at the time thought that that might be it for RG. It looked very dire.
Still incredible that he's, not only, well and alive... and that he could continue racing.

The halo also stopped bonehead Max from decapitating Lewis when his wheel literally went over Lewis' head at Monza.

Probably could have been charged for manslaughter.

DTS season 5 was nearly unwatchable.

Glad it’s race week though!

Does anybody believe the Aston Martin hype?

I honestly think at best they’re fighting for 4th or 5th. There’s just no way they made that massive of a leap into the top 3.
