Fast and Furious Thread: Hobbs and Shaw Spin Off 2019 - Tyrese career ending injury

I think they might spend a couple extra dollars and green suit him, and finish the movie out as planned previously.

I'm sure that would make a ton of people happy

Basically I think you need to kill him off then have Dom get ruthless revenge bc that is what will really make fans happy and carryover to Fast 8

i dont see what way possible they can kill him off IMO

i think the movie will be scrapped IMO, no idea how they can go on from what they have already filmed with him.

Paul Walker's Death: 'Fast & Furious 7' Delayed But Won't Be Scrapped

thats not 100%, anything can happen between today and the next 2 weeks.

i just dont see how they can film an ending/death/or w/e without him. the movie was close to done and he filmed majority of it

im betting this get scrapped and they just aim to refilm with the rest cast and do a tribute to him at the end or during.

regardless, w/e they do will bring in the big bucks and not gonna lie, if they do some tribute i will probably cry :smh:

catching up on the thread...

Tyrese wont work next to Dom. for the reasons already pointed out (comic relief, etc) but most of all they dont have the same history/chemistry that Dom and Brian do over the course of 5+ movies (not counting 2 and 3), from day 1. just isnt the same.

Im in the camp that says you have him be a victim of Statham, but maybe offscreen. Like have it pick up from the last scene he filmed, and then Dom and Mia get a phone call out of the blue like with Han. Have it be Statham's MO. also agreed that he cant just up and run with the kid, a. its out of character and b. no closure.

There is no doubt I'll be crying and I NEVER cry outside a close one's death

It really feels like a long time buddy is gone

When you think about it and you are big fans of these movies; they spanned over a good chunk of your life and getting to know then with all their offscreen stuff makes you feel you know them personally

i was just about to edit my post saying the same thing. if they end up killing him in the movie and do a funeral scene, the tears on screen and in the audience will be real.

and i was in high school when FatF came out, just got my license, I was all over the movie and the whole scene. pretty much spent my adult life watching these movies and following the characters and the actors. damn shame :smh:

Never has a death of a celebrity/actor bothered me this much, until now. It feel sad brah, for real.

As a fan of this franchise, they should just cancel it and call it done. The whole plot is runied. I don't see how they're going to execute this movie.

RIP Paul Walker..

its surreal to me...i wasnt a big fan of Walker by any means but i cant picture this series without him...

I think having him die in this one is not very tasteful...and i think it all depends on what they actually have filmed so far...idk but either way its going to be a tough job...

Yup I was 18 when the Fast and the Furious came out; I was just a dumb kid learning my way

It's crazy thinking after the first one I went and got laid in my garage because my mom was home and now I'm a grown adult

Same here. I remember when I first started reading about the movie in the old import car magazines, I knew it'd be one of my favorites movies of all time and was hyped as hell. I know people reminisce about era's, but that entire street racing era of the late 90's/early 2000's was some of the best times of my life. Weekends and Hunt Point races and Weeknights playing NFS:Underground, it was great  I also remember the og dvd came out on New Years day and I spent the entire week watching it every day that week.

Hell, I know I mentioned it before but that very first scene with the green Eclipse is what taught me how to drive stick and trying to find a 99' GSX is still on my to-do list in life.

didn't know he was such a giving guy. It sucks that all these entertainment shows only give any airtime to all these train wreck celebrities. The only time they mention celebs that are actually doing anything positive after they've passed away. Yea this celeb death irks me more since it was literally only a few blocks from my son's pre school. damn RIP Paul Walker

I used to also bump the soundtrack with those Ja Rule bangers like crazy in the summer 2001

Dope album, I liked the Good Life and Race against time. I even remember how souped up I was when my boy made a bootleg version of P.O.V. City anthem on my (non-working) 2 way pager

They might not have a problem with the end of the movie bc my wife knows the farrely bothers and had small parts in 3 of there movies and when we was on the set of me myself and irene chris the farrely bothers assist said that her part would be at the end of the movie but thats the first part that was being filmed, So she asked why they film it that way they said that most directors film their movies from end to beginning or out of order bc its cheaper. For example if the start of the movie begins in LA and the ending is also in LA it would be cheaper to film it at the same time. And the director said that the movie was almost finish they have a month left to film so they my already have the start and the end of the movie filmed and all they have to do is figure out how to leave him out of the middle of the movie if they filmed it out of order.

Film is 50% completed already

stIll even at 50% complet if the film was filmed from end to beginning or out of order, they should still have the ending with walker when he was alive. Thats why on the dark knight you couldnt tell that Keith died before the movie was complete. The hard part is that paul walker had some key parts to film.

I honestly think it's a done deal with the movie. He's not replaceable, he can't be hidden away half the movie. I think they either film a whole other film and give him some sort of vin D Tokyo drift cameo at the end or be done all together

So God made his friend turn the car on race mode and speed into a pole, ok.  SMH at you fools.

It sucks that homie died, but people die everyday.  What makes him the exception?  Because he was in movies?

When it was just a rumor a chick on FB was like, "Please God anybody, but him."  WHAT!!

Between her statement and this one just shows that humanity is F'ed, because this is the mentality of all to many.

Had it been a porn star that died of Aids from doing porn no one would give two it's.  But racers die being reckless and speeding it becomes a tragedy, because one of the people in the car was in a few good movies.  I don't get it.

RIP to all the fallen that lost their lives today and yesterday.

And **** on the lames that rather get some cell phone footage of someone burning to death vs putting themselves in harms way to attempt to save a life.  I'm sure if it was them they would want someone to at least try; instead of filming them as they burn to death.  And yes I would've tried to help them out if I was on scene.  I know I would want someone to do the same for me,

Calm your ****, I said why I said not because he died or because he's famous, but because is extremely ironic that dude was practically known for making movies about racin and he dies in a car crash that had nothing to do with the movies...

Some of you dudes remind me of my wife's friends and their chats, always finding something to argue about.

Got the chills when I saw this

“You know he’s out there watching,” Ludacris’ character says.

“I hope so,” Walker’s O’Conner replies. “It means he’s close.”

“Promise me, Brian, no more more funerals,” says Roman Pearce.

“Just one more,” O’Conner says as Ian Shaw’s Aston Martin drives slowly through the cemetery.

If they want the franchise to go on beyond 7 walkers character has to be killed off.

Was it just a bogus rumor that paul walker has a twin brother?

Honestly, they need to deal with his death of his character in the movie, and bring the franchise to an end. It makes sense both on and off set.

The series will never be the same.

if they are going to continue with the series only logical way is to rework the plot

and kill off his character in a respectful manner (perhaps assassinated by statham no car crash though that would just hit too close to home)

then bring back Han and center it around revenge again

then end the franchise to bring closure but i think they should finish the film in his memory and make it a tribute
