Why dont you just buy a plane ticket outside of the US and cashout out of the country? If you really have 500k a plane ticket is def worth it

im by no means a high roller but i could imagine what your feeling, i was always hesitant about leaving my money in others people hands .

Just got word from PS that player account balances are safe, I guess its only a matter of time before I can access my money.
I cant even open FTP right now, but hopefully I hear something soon.

No way you are getting your 500k back...perfect chance for all these companies to roll over declare bankruptcy and start fresh under government regulations or none at all...
if you have 500k, imagine others who have millions...perfect excuse for these sites to deny you any of your money along with the government...
why would the sites refund you that much (knowing they have a legitimate excuse not to --prosecution, jail time, etc.), and why would the government refund you money on profit earned illegally?
You got greedy brother, just like the guys with the ponzi schemes. If you are that good you should go play at the casino and legitimately earn the money so you don't have to worry about things like this.

you know those players you see on TV, majority make more money online then playing cash games.

For one, the online games are a lot tougher than live games.
2, I think a lot of people are under the impression that participating in online gambling is illegal, when it isn't.
There's a HUGE gray area when it comes to online poker and its legality.
However, money laundering and fraud are obviously illegal and that's the main reason that these sites were shut down.

US Players are doing nothing illegal when they play.
The illegality lies with financial side of things vis-avis transfer/debits/credits on the servicer side (poker sites/banks/ payment processors).

On point. So many people think they understand online poker that don't. Grinding live games for the most part is MUCH easier than online play. People should have some way to get their money out. Its about time for everyone to realize that Poker shouldn't be a crime and that skill is a HUGE part of the game.

I was about to come in and complain about havin 100 in ps until buddy comes in talkin about 500k. That's crazy

I also have a hundred + in my ps account but im skeptical about 500k. I know he doesn't care but what did he expect...post that he won 500k and people just accept it as a fact? I seriously don't believe you can work your way to 500k with the stakes going on in either poker rooms. Its rather you consistently win in multiple cash games or won once in one of those wcoop / ftop events. The beats on pokerstars and fulltilt are horrendous. I remember losing three hands straight where the other guy had less than 3-6 outs

online play is necessarily harder though. Some find it easier than live games actually. It depends on the player I guess. Playing multiple tables is also and added benefit of online.
