I haven't seen recent retros in hand, but based on pics we get the shape and flatness of some of these newer 12s have been just incredibly bad, even for JB's lowly standards.
I hope they stop playing around with these.

I remember vividly when I got these back in the days. I was a freshman at UC Irvine and had class in the morning. After class headed over to Sports Chalet, and walked out with the Playoff 12s on my feet and went back to campus.

Imagine the days of walking in and out of a shoe store with the pair you wanted in hand, no stress. *OG'sigh*

it’ll be 10 years since the last release when these release. Taxis released in the past decade.

The Playoff was in 2012. The Taxi in 2013.

The white/red XII is what's overdue, last drop was 2009, and that's been the only retro.

Taxis and Playoffs have each dropped twice, not even counting as lows.
