A well done waffle

Roscoe's is not a must visit in LA. Honey Kettle and Sweet Chick is definitely better

Only way to prevent folks from bringing you out soggy waffles.

Roscoe's waffles are soggy by default.

I need some crisp because soggy waffles are terrible man.

On the cool, I feel like if you’re black you should go on the strength.

Some spots are cultural spots and I consider Roscoe's one of those. Saying, "You owe it to yourself" doesn't simply factor in TASTE. I would say the same about Ben's Chilli Bowl in DC and that place isn't that great either. Some spots are just branded by the city they represent and Roscoe's is one of those.

So I would say, if you go to LA (and you are in here ASKING about it) you owe it to yourself to go to Roscoe's.

Roscoes ain’t the same

For someone that lives outside of the West Coast might not be in a position to evaluate a gradual decline over the past 10 years.

So they can eat it and make their own judgement.

If course there will be higher quality olaces but again, taste isn't completely why I said it is must-see.

But I enjoyed it and will go whenever I visit LA if I am in a position to.

No roscoe's slander on my watch. BUT when I went last time the food was not the best. But I just need to stick to my staples. The one on Gower or the one on pico.

The waffles you can eat without syrup. so bomb and I dont even like waffles. Chicken is usually always on point. and the mac is usually fire. Never been to those other places named but ill have to check them out when we go back in october.

KFC rolled out “Beyond” Fried Chicken at one of its Atlanta stores yesterday. I gotta say, even as someone who doesn’t eat meat, I think the food industry may be going overboard with the plant-based protein movement. I just don’t know how sustainable it is at this level. Unless some data comes out showing that the plant-based stuff is really much healthier than regular meat, which is not the case so far, I just don’t see people who don’t identify as Vegetarian/Vegan sticking with plant-based products after the novelty wears off. And a large percentage of Vegetarians/Vegans aren’t going to regularly eat at places that serve 80 percent meat offerings.

All that said, if it makes to LA, I’ll try the KFC stuff.

Is it cool to post pics of food I’ve taken but never posted anywhere? I always take the pic, think about and be like naw.
