Bacon is only superior on an egg sandwich when you cook it yourself. Way too many variables at play for someone else to be able to check every box.

Sausage is elite on breakfast sandwiches. Bacon is too inconsistent almost everywhere, it's hard to mess up sausage. Now if I'm home, and I'm making the bacon, yeah, I know how I like it and it's on a different level and is the only time I'd rather bacon over sausage.

Meanwhile I had some takeaway yesterday. We had a promotion in the UK for 50 percent off Monday- Wednesday during August for restaurants. Not the best but definitely worth it for half off.
