What’s for lunch
For those in Baltimore, you must go to Twist in Fells Point. My brother and I went there today for brunch and I ordered the Parisian Almond Croissant French Toast with almond butter syrup and the Seafood Quesadilla with shrimp and lump crabmeat. Both were SOOOO good, but the winner for me was the french toast. It was like an inside out almond croissant (with the filling on the top) shaped into toast. I went to town on it right when I got it, so unfortunately I did not take a picture. ☹
On our way back to the car, we went to Pitango Gelato (for those in the DC and Baltimore areas) and I got me a scoop of (going clockwise) passionfruit, mango and mojito sorbet with a little bit of Granny Smith apple sorbet on the side. I must say, as much as I love mango sorbet, my third scoop should have been the Granny Smith apple to have 3 tart flavors mixed together. Nevertheless, it was super good (plus fat free and all but the passionfruit was 100% organic).
