Closest comparison I could make is braised short ribs, but it's gonna taste similar to just about any beef you braise or stew.

This homemade pudding was rich. Nothing in common with jello.

Hate to quote myself but this was ridiculous. Here's the recipe. I tweaked it a bit, put half the sugar, added juice of 1 lemon and 1/3 stick of butter. Don't let it boil keep it at slow simmer.

Thanks nt for the oat milk recommendation. Best texture out of the milk substitutes. Smoothies so nt thick now. And the only substitute that froths well for my cappuccinos.

Still on the search for a new Mexican after my favorite closed down. Tried a new place - bit commercial when I want more of a mom and pop place - but it was good. Got the chili rice bowl with ghost pepper salsa - started off thinking it was nothing but now I’m sitting here with my nose running.
