Tough question. A proper blt on a roll with crunchy lettuce and mayo would be my #1 but a pastrami egg and cheese isn’t far behind. Lox cream cheese and capers on a everything bagel round out my top 3. Ask me next week I may have a different answer

Also I don't consider buttered rolls to be "sandwiches." Even if it has lox and all da fixins. Once cream cheese gets added to the mix it remains a buttered roll.

A buttered roll is a Kaiser or likewise bread with butter. cream cheese is something else entirely to be grouped into a butter roll. and yes, blt is a breakfast and/or lunch sammy

I forgot people in bk, si and li call anything a buttered roll. a buttered roll is as described, a roll of bread with butter slapped on. Cream cheese is different
