Since we’re talking sauces, picked this up from TJ’s last week -

Basically imitation McD’s Mac Sauce. I like it.

Big mac sauce is real easy to make at home.

3 parts mayo, 2 parts ketchup, 1 part yellow mustard, big scoop of sweet relish, garlic powder, and black pepper.

I usually make a burger sauce of mayo, ketchup, spicy brown mustard, hot sauce, worcestershire, garlic, pepper.

Basically just throw together whatever random condiments you have in the fridge and it'll end up being pretty good.

In the same breath, got a free appetizer at Red Hook Tavern the first time I went that was roasted corn, 'nduja, basil, and a vinaigrette in some radicchio cups. A total surprise and one of the best things I've eaten there.

It wasn't intended to be a free app, but the server set the plate down on our table and it was August of 2020 so they were just like "welp...enjoy!"

Also big ups to Billy Durney for being one of the most responsible restauranteurs throughout the pandemic. We sat outside and we still had to mask up once our servers came around. He also mandated that all of his staff be vaccinated once the vaccines became available. Actually made its way to local news because of the backlash. He stuck to his guns and it didn't hurt him one bit no matter how hard people tried.

You can get higher quality for less dollars too. 4 for 4 with a JBC and some nuggets. Was at McDonald’s a while back and got a double cheeseburger and it was 3.99.

My brother usually only cooks steaks but he picked up some spatchcock lemon chicken from Trader Joe's. 40 minutes in the Ninja air fryer. He says it’s delicious.

Yeah, we get those here in the UK. I’ve had them a few times - pretty good, they’ve got the KFC spice flavor really close.

Whatever the options I always choose crinkly chips too - they’re always better IMO.
