I've never had that. You ever have Kunafeh? It's like the Middle Eastern version of cheese cake. It's also made from semolina dough. Basbousa looks to have a cornbread like texture to it.

Also at the discount food place yesterday (as well as a bunch of chicken breasts for nearly nothing which are now in my freezer) was this prepared pork joint for 25% of the sticker - got some sort of herby paste on and in it. I just put it in my smoker while I was doing stuff around the house - and 2.5 hours later it smells and tastes delicious. Also threw on some potatoes - just olive oil and salt and they are really good.
