Lil surprise for our honeymoon
Overall service, ambiance, and drinks were great but the food left a lot to be desired. We felt a lot of the dishes were either bland or way too salty. The butter chicken tasted especially flat, which was upsetting considering how hyped up it is. A lot of people say this is some of the best Indian food in the world but I really don’t agree. We only genuinely liked a few of the dishes but thought the majority of what we had were duds. To put it in perspective me and my wife went through a list of restaurants we’d rather eat at and Cheesecake Factory beat Gymkhana
. I fail to see how they earned 2 Michelin stars.
In other news, we did afternoon tea at Sketch today. This was pretty enjoyable. Definitely a quirky place but the food was good and it was a fun experience:
Masters Superfish for fish and chips tonight.
