A video of an argument with a Taco Bell employee in Hialeah has unleashed a wave of indignation on social media.

The incident happened on Wednesday night, when Alexandria Montgomery was trying to place an order — in English — at a Taco Bell drive thru window at 785 East Ninth St. The employee refused to take her order because she wasn’t speaking Spanish.

In the video, which was posted Thursday night, Montgomery asked the annoyed woman, “Do you have a manager here?”

“She is in her house sleeping,” the employee replied in Spanish in a dismissive tone. There was no one else to take the order, the employee claimed.

“Honey, I have a car behind you,” the employee says in Spanish and closes the window.

“Can you move please? I have an order behind you. There is no one who speaks English,” the woman tells Montgomery in the video and threatens to call the police.

“This is Hialeah, I’m sorry,” she said in Spanish.

Two other Taco Bell workers approached the drive thru window when they heard the altercation, but apparently they did not try to help the client.

another reason i cant move back to south florida. ive seen this kind of thing in person. in my own hometown i walked into a store and they started speaking to me in spanish first. i lived in a majority white city called pembroke pines, and im a 6'1 big fat black dude. why the hell do you look at me and assume "yup..... that linebacker definitely is a spanish speaker." the fact that the latin (mainly cubans) community is trying to take over all of south florida and the price of living? nope. yall got it

I don't know why my people don't want to learn English when they move to South Florida . When my family came over, my parents made it mandatory for me and my siblings to learn and speak english at all times. We weren't even allowed to speak spanish at home for like a year because my parents didn't want us to have a disadvantage with the langue barrier.

To be fair though, I blame the management in those establishments. I understand they are trying to hook people up with jobs and all but have at least 2-3 people at all times that can speak english during a shift. Can't have the entire crew not being able to communicate at all.

I don't know why my people don't want to learn English when they move to South Florida . When my family came over, my parents made it mandatory for me and my siblings to learn and speak english at all times. We weren't even allowed to speak spanish at home for like a year because my parents didn't want us to have a disadvantage with the langue barrier.

To be fair though, I blame the management in those establishments. I understand they are trying to hook people up with jobs and all but have at least 2-3 people at all times that can speak english during a shift. Can't have the entire crew not being able to communicate at all.

For the record in the video you can clearly hear the drive threw chick say she didn’t want to help them period for x reason c mon there only showing u want they want too so there’s gotta be more to this and she understood English , but not every one has to iearn it it’s like does every one has to stand for the flag ??

AN elderly woman has been charged with murder after an 85-year-old man was found stabbed to death.

Alan Grayson was found at a Sheffield home on Thursday morning, with emergency services unable to save his life.

After the grim discovery, cops arrested an 83-year-old woman - since charging her with murder.
Marjorie Grayson appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court today and was remanded into custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, September 18.

A post-mortem has been carried out, finding that Mr Grayson died as a result of a stab wound.

Horrified locals have expressed their "disbelief" at discovering Alan had died, saying the couple had lived on the quiet street for at least 15 years.

The woman, aged 57, who did not want to be named, told how Alan and Marjorie had lived in the semi-detached home in Handsworth since before she was born.

She said Alan was an architect or "used to do something do with drawing" while Marjorie worked at a local garage.

She said: "They were lovely - always just pottering around in their garden and always stopped for a proper chat.

"They were one of the originals from the street still left. It's just hard to believe - I'm so upset. Marjorie was good friends with my mum."

A woman is expected to face court on murder charges after the elderly man's death
She said police had described it as a "tragic domestic incident."

The woman's husband said: "I was amazed when I opened the curtains at 8.45am - I hadn't heard anything.

"Paramedics and police cars were there then more and more started showing up."

Detective Inspector Simon Palmer, the Senior Investigating Officer, said: “Mr Grayson’s family are being supported by specialist officers during this incredibly difficult time and have asked that their privacy is respected.

“I fully appreciate that Mr Grayson’s death is highly emotive but I would urge people to think about comments they make on social media and the impact it could have on the family.

"I’d also like to ask that people refrain from posting speculations, to enable criminal proceedings to progress through the courts unhindered and to allow the family time to grieve.”

I was speaking in general terms about establishments down there. As for that particular incident I don't know what her reasoning was for not wanting to take their order.

yea. frankly, people who speak english AND spanish have a big advantage in america. and yea the management here definitely enabled that foolishness. they say the chick got fired already for lying about her name and refusing to take the order knowing they coulda just said uno dos or tres or something and she coulda rung it up. oh well. the manager also apparently said something close to "sorry about that" the next morning and then hung up. so corporate gave her $100 lmaooooo

Man Decapitates Wife for Giving His Rival the " "; Brings Severed Head to Precinct

35-year-old Satish, entered the police station in southern India, brandishing a machete and proclaiming that he had murdered his wife, Roopa.

A police officer recorded the moment on his smartphone, as Satish lay his bag on the floor and pulled his wife's severed head out and held it up with one hand.

'This is my wife, sir. I gave her all the love I could,' he tells shocked police officers before one shouts: 'Put it back inside!'

Satish then places the head back in the bag, at the police station in the town of Ajjampura, in the Chikkamagaluru district of southern India's Karnataka state.

He then told officers that his wife had been cheating on him and that he had lost his temper after seeing them together.

He continues to slam his wife's character, complaining that she had chosen his rival, Sunil over him, despite the man apparently having a criminal record and being employed as a manual worker.

Satish told cops that Roopa had even taken out a loan for 300,000 INR (3,170 GBP) and given the money to her lover.

The officers in attendance had to calm Satish down so they could take his statement in order to begin proceedings for launching a formal murder investigation.

Inspector Ramachandra Nayak said Satish had been remanded in police custody after showing officers where he had left the rest of his wife's body.

Supt Annamalai said: 'Generally, in the Ajjampura area, whoever commits murder surrenders to the police but for someone to walk in and place a head on the sub-inspector's table was something new for us.'
