Alice Braga? Nah, the chick in Logans from Orange is the New Black iirc.

Alice does have the same sad rest face as Rose Byrne though

Gambit: Candra Rumored To Be Villain In X-Men Spinoff

Omega Underground reports that the telepathic supervillain Candra will be the Gambit movie’s big bad. The character is one of the comic universe’s Externals, and in addition to being one of the universe’s strongest telepaths, she’s virtually immortal. Although she has fought many mutants over the years, her history is closely tied with Gambit’s. After all, she made her debut appearance in Gambit #1 in 1993, thus making her the prime candidate for taking on the Ragin’ Cajun in his first solo movie.

Well I did like her when she made her cameo in X-Ternally yours episode on the X-men 90s series. Actually one of my favorite episodes.

Wow they really digging deep

I wonder at what point these writers figured out Gambit got a pretty barren rogues gallery and history outside of the X-Men

Like if you not gonna start off with Mr. Sinister manipulations and what not all you got left is nameless members of the Assasin's guild not counting Bella and the Sun God (alt future version of Gambit that didn't become Sinister's *****).

Sinister could've been used to connect this and the X-men stuff. I guess they're just saving him for the main story which they need to end.

I don't see how they salvage Gambit at all if they go the Mutant Massacre moment.

DEADPOOL 2: Josh Brolin Has Signed Up For 4-Movies As Cable

"At first I was like, ‘I don’t know. I want to do George and Tammy.’ My wife — thank god — said to just read it. ‘Why are you even talking, just read it,’" Brolin revealed before going on to confirm that he's signed up for four movies set in Fox's X-Men Universe starting with next year's Deadpool 2.

"I was thinking big about the four-picture deal. So, on my phone I remember I read it. It was so irreverent and funny and hysterical that once I got through it I was like, ‘that’s it.’ I had no idea [about] the fan-base. I had no idea what it represented, and I think we’ve made something really special."

Curious to see how New Mutants will turn out.

And of course, where it fits in the timeline of the FoX-Men universe:lol:

Timeline? We watching X-men movies and talking about timelines?!

New rumor points to Fox stealing MCUs thunder by using the Skrulls first?

Fan site Universo X-Men is reporting that X-Men: Dark Phoenix will feature the warlike, shape-shifting alien race known as The Skrulls.

According to their sources, a scene takes place at the United Nations building with the likes of Professor Xavier, Magneto, Jean Grey and Cyclops in attendance to discuss mutant rights. At some point, alien ships launch an attack, taking everyone by surprise.

So, that'll be the Shi’ar Empire.. right? Well, although the actors spotted on set were wearing motion-capture suits, apparently they were clearly identified as Skrulls.

DEADPOOL 2 Star Josh Brolin Teases Cable's Introduction And Reveals When X-FORCE Starts Shooting

Josh Brolin will play Cable in Deadpool 2 and the actor has now shed some light on what we should expect from the highly anticipated sequel from John Wick co-director David Leitch. Asked specifically what the filmmaker is bringing to the table and what sort of impact that's had on him, he replied:

"[David] embraces what he’s very good at, which I think is very smart. There’s ton of action in it. The tease is, a guy who’s 49 years old on the cusp of 50 who got in the best shape of his life, especially exteriorly, and I was extremely disciplined throughout that whole thing. I got beat to **** on that movie. That’s all I know. I had stuntmen throwing me all over the place. I’ve got a shoulder issue, I’ve got a knee issue that I’ve got to deal with now, but we got through it. We got through it. I pushed hard and I suffered because of it."

Ouch! Brolin has clearly been put through the wringer for the movie but he's not going to have long to recover as the actor went on to shed some light on when he'll be reprising the role in X-Force.

"I think [X-Force films] sometime next year or soon thereafter. It depends. It all depends. It depends on how Deadpool 2 does, but I don’t think that’s a make or break kind of deal. Drew Goddard is already involved in it. He’s into it now. I know he and Ryan were meeting. I’ve met him once, and so this is all kind of going ahead. How it goes ahead, I know that they’re preparing, and I know that it’s something that I’m set to do. When it happens they’re going to put it as fast as they can. I think Drew Goddard is doing his movie right now and then once he’s kind of wrapped up with that and this movie comes out I think we’ll be ready to start the other one."

It's a safe bet that Deadpool 2 will be a hit so X-Force happening is pretty much guaranteed at this point. This also confirms that the spinoff will be the next movie where Cable appears as opposed to Deadpool 3 but we pretty much knew that already! As for what's coming for the time-travelling mutant during his introduction to Fox's X-Men Universe, Brolin wouldn't reveal much but added:

"I'm not going to tell you how much I’m in the film, but it’s his introduction, and I think his introduction, even in the small promos and teasers that David has shown me, I think it’s a proper reveal. I think we’re not trying to hide the fact that this is the beginning of Cable and absolutely not the end. I think when you’re sensitive about how you reveal this character there’s a sense of mystery in it, so then when we finally get into X-Force, you’re going to be with this guy full blown all the time. There’s a lot to be revealed. There’s a lot to be revealed, but there’s three more movies to reveal more."
