C'mon people. There is no such thing as a free lunch in this world. You're always paying in one way or another. With something like this, it's your privacy. How is the data tracked anonymously when they know which net book is associated with a specific name and address. It's not like they dropped off the net books from the back of a C-17 and random folks decided to pick it up.

Oh and it also has built in GPS. See if you can disable that. I highly doubt it (unlike in your phone).

Google and your ISP do this already anyways. Who cares? So they're going to see how much porn you download and how often you visit Niketalk, Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter.

Until I see a string of incidents where they establish a precedent of taking that information and using it against you (i.e copyright infringement for music, porn, software downloads), I won't give a ##*%. I'm sure it has happened before, but it's not an everyday occurrence yet where I'm scared.

What do you mean use it against you? Their goal is to make a profit off of it. Not to use it against you.
If the feds/state want to use it against you then Google will give it up.

I understand that some folks don't give a *$@% about their privacy. It's a personal choice. Don't make it seem like it's normal though. It's not normal. It's just ignorance.
