If she missed her flight, it was the fault of her prior accommodation. He took the chance of speeding in the name of doing a favor for a "friend". She can at least meet him halfway(figuratively and literally). Your correct on everything you said but sadly you have no empathy for this situation which shows your moral fiber. 
So...he suffers for trying to do her a favor. I find it absurd that someone would actually condone her not at least offering to pay.

Homegirl is wrong and you should have your sister call her out on it.  

BTW smashin windows and slashin tires...

doesn't even seem like he gave her a chance to offer...i honestly think it was kind of tacky for him to ask for half...but maybe thats just me

ive given rides before and recieved a ticket...i wouldn't have gotten the ticket if i didn't agree to bring a friend down to school but it was my fault for speeding...i was in control it was my fault...my friends offered to pay...is that great? of course but i never expected it from them...
 
just dont do anything for her ever again. you can be a jerk whenever you see her and make her not want to go to your house. then maybe eventually she will be sorry and pay you something

Yall dudes is wilin saying its not homies fault, its actually both of them, he was in a lose/lose situation, if he went slow, he wouldn't have gotten to the airport on time.

and since he did speed he did get there on time. but OP i feel you and this is a tuff situation, hows your relationship with the girl? is there anyway you can tell her parents or

something? and let her know tht your taking her to civil court, maybe the thought might spoke her and let her know that your serious. I know I would be OD tight, I did her a

favor, got a ticket and Im paying it by myself? hell no i aint taking no L

Ehh I had a similar situation happen in high school. My bestfriend was picking me up from school and got caught speeding in upscale area. Dude was kinda salty I wasn't trying to go half on the ticket but I never asked him to speed. Come to think bout it the only reason he was picking me up was to show off his new car.

U did the crime now do the time my man.....

You did look out for her trying to get her to the airport in 20 min...

However, you did have to go out of your way to help her...

Wow, that is a horrible friend you have there. The decent thing for her to do was to pay for half of the ticket. I mean it was your fault that you were speeding but you were just trying to get her to the airport in time to catch her flight. It hard to tell who's fault it really is. My advice would be to just take the L and find some other way to get her back and maybe with interest.

Just take the L OP and don't even bother helpin her again. U in a lose/lose situation. BTW, everybody no placing any blame on the girl must be the same type of person.
