op nice post. I too believe in Jesus but I don't think the world is worse off today then it was in the past. Just some odd 200 years ago slavery was going on in just about every nation in the world. It still happens today but it's rare. Also since the beginning of time people have been materialistic. Look at all the kings who were buried with all of their gold and jewels. It just seems like it's worse today from all the technology and social media and as we get older we become more aware of what's going on in the world.
Lets go back just 40 years and in our own country it was a lot worse then it is today. We lost about 58,000 troops in the Vietnam war that we were involved in for 20 plus years. MLK was murdered. Our president JFK was murdered and his brother who was the front runner to become the president 5 years later was murdered. Women couldn't vote. Blacks couldn't vote. mixed marriages weren't allowed. I mean I can go on and on
