GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

Anyone staying at the Vdara?

I plan on going to vegas from May 26 to May May 29th or 30th with a group of 10 (6 girls). We're looking to stay in a suite...is the Vdara any good?

i stayed at the vdara last summer.

its more of a family oriented hotel.  no smoking, no casino in the hotel (you have to walk over to the Aria and there is no indoor/air conditioned walkway to connect)

i just stayed in a regular room so i cant speak on the suites.   the regular rooms are nice, on par with any of the other upper end hotels on the strip.

personally i would not stay there again.  i need my casino fix and i dont want to have to walk an extra 90 seconds to get there.  also, the pool has a DEATH RAY.  do NOT sleep on it... literally.  I got absolutely cooked before my spa appointment, so my massage was a bit more painful than I expected.  You can google it (try vdara + death + ray).

If you Tryna hit the club, go to the jack Colton forums...

They have host #'s and you could get in contact with them directly so no need of a middle man Tryna make his money off of u...O

Or check in with your main desk at your hotel and ask them for passes and more info, theyre usually helpful.

I was standing in line for Jet and had this lady told us how she paid $25 for a vip pass to get in and still had to pay $20 for cover.
That same pass I got it while standing in line, a bouncer handed it to us.

Seems like you dont always need 3 girls to 2 guys to get into a high end club now, vegas def. isnt what it was 3 years ago.

if your goin with just your girl try chillin out at the voodoo lounge in the rio one night...if you want dinner there the food is above average you can chill outside drink, enjoy a cigar its not a bad spot at all....Raos in caesars is just as dope in vegas but doesnt have the NYC 1940s feel(obviously) food is still great and actually not too expensive...shopping in PH aint bad and mostly mid range...Mix in THEhotel is a fun chill night and you can check out Minus 5 while your over there too unique experience

KidUFC:
1: Talk to a club host during the day & ask them about the particular club you're interested in. You can get their number by calling the hotel directly, they'll usually put you on the list & give you a time to be there by. It's easier if you are staying in the hotel where the club is located though. Or you can sign up for VIP on the club's website & skip all of that. Much easier.

2: Hooters doesn't close, at least the one in the hooters hotel doesn't.

Co-sign on everything but dont know about the pool. I stood at Aria my 2nd time around just cuz I didn't have to go outside to get to the casino.

I heard about this. Major design flaw on the hotel. They had to have fixed it somehow during the off season though, right?

between the tower and pyramid rooms? the difference is, in the tower, theres not a window at a 45 degree angle that makes 1/4th of your room useless.
