I'll tell you what you should wear (damn well knowing I'll get ten posts saying so-and-so's buddy got in wearing such-and-such else): collared shirt or sweater (in colder months, it's not a bad move), dress pants or clean denim, dress shoes or clean sneakers. In the end though, it's up to the individual bouncer. If you're in the GA line, it's a stricter code. Bottle service, they are a little more lenient. You might see people rocking v-neck tees in the club, but they're locals. Play it safe and have a good time. It's not worth the risk of waiting in line forever only to be denied because of your shoes. Dress like you want to be there, not just hoping to be there.
