GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

We're not hitting the clubs this go round, but we will be looking for crackin bars on or off the strip. Any recommendations?

Depends on what you mean by "crackin". I just like good bars with good drinks and a lively atmosphere, rather than a raging party atmosphere like Cabo Wabo (for example). Chandelier or Vesper at Cosmo are great, but one that doesn't get mentioned a lot but is nice is Rhumbar at Mirage.

Just got back.
Had the time of my life with the fiancé.
Ballys wasn't bad at all.
I tried the $20 sandwich trick at the front desk and got upgraded to a king suite!
And considering I used the five-night bulk deal for $200, I basically paid 45 a night.
That secret/nameless pizza joint in the Cosmopolitan is ridiculously good, we went at least four or five times.
And saw Mystere, I'm trying to see all the Cirque shows!

So that $20 sandwhich thing really works? I'm going this weekend. Anyone recommend or have any hook ups on pool parties or club?

P.S - I'm going next weekend as well, LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Already got my Rehab tixs.

update on my marquee/Tao/lavo ban:

went on my annual Vegas trip couple weeks back, spoke to a promoter dude who seemed like he had pull, and dude basically told us to not even risk going back and trying marquee. Told us there was a chance we'd get arrested/detained again.

fast forward to last week and one of my boys who got banned with me went with a diff group, got put on the guest list, and got in no hassle.

:pimp: too bad I don't have any Vegas trips lined up in the future

I need a connect for hotels, anybody can help me? I clicked that link above (link to PH), stayed there before, its nice, but want to try something else. Ill be leaving in a month.

Yeah, it really did work, at least in my case.
Im sure it just depends on the person you get. I tried setting myself up in line to get the youngest employee I could.
It was also pretty late at night so only a few employees were helping people, so that probably helped.
I just handed over the sandwich, and asked if there were any complimentary upgrades available.
She replied with a smile and asked if the 20 was for her, and I nodded.
She typed a little bit, and kinda scared me with her first few words/tone:
"Im sorry, sir, all we have available is a king suite, but unfortunately, its a smoking suite."
I tried my best to look a little disappointed but my fast response kinda negated it.
"YES, ILL TAKE IT!"
Me and the fiance headed to the room, and when we first opened the door, I was disappointed because it had a little hallway leading into what looked like a normal room.
Turned the corner and there was a king-sized bed, an amazing view of Paris/Eiffel Tower, stairs to the bathroom that had a huge tub in the middle, his and hers closets and sinks, and it had a urinal for crying out loud! All for pretty much ~45 a night.
Proceeded to pack a few bowls and enjoy the rest of the night.
I recommend every NTer try this. Mind you, I stayed at Ballys, so Id imagine I would tip a little more if I were staying at higher end hotels.

I've actually heard of other people doing this. Can't wait to try it out this weekend! I'll keep you posted! THANKS MAN! How funny, I'm actually staying at Bally's this weekend ha!

-saturday: Pure, J.Lo was there :pimp:. 2 of my boys got banned for a year  :smh:

-sunday: Hit the strip club, I forgot which one. Went with a group of chicks we met from New Hampshire that were in town for a bachelorette party.

-monday: Gambled a little, my cuz, was up $600 between craps-blackjack and casino was and left down $800

it was my first time and I'm definitely making this an annual trip :nthat:

It's funny seeing it referred to as "sandwich trick".

As far as Cirque shows go, you have to take your girl to Zumanity. That was real dope especially for a couple.
Wifey loved "Love" at the Mirage as well. That was more fun and upbeat.

Been doing the tip trick for years... But it really just depends on the casino itself and the employee. Either way, you get your money back if they can't provide you with a "complimentary upgrade".

this is preference. You don't have to, but it helps. All the Vegas casinos know about the $20 tip trick. I've had friends try and slide a $50 in and still get declined. Again, it's based on availability and the actual employee.

I need to go back,

THIS. RIGHT. HERE.

I'm due for a Vegas trip. It's tough now because there was a time where we'd score free rooms in Harrah's properties. Anytime we'd plan Vegas, we'd automatically book the Augustus Tower at Ceasars. After having that blessing for so many years, it's so hard to pay for a room now.

Check up on Mirage's social media stuff. I know they were offering $63 rooms for Sept. Very solid, good location, great club inside, and topless pool downstairs. Vdara also has a sale, but I like a little bit more of a wild atmosphere.

How's the Marquee Dayclub on Sundays?

MDC is always a good time. I'm a big fan of their dayclub layout, and it seems a lot cleaner than other pool parties.

BTW, for those of you looking into rooms, Elara (PH Towers) has to be one of my favorites. 2br suite and the penthouse version of it are GREAT in terms of space. Plenty of space for people to crash... then again, I was found sleeping inside the hot tub and in front of the toilet this past trip, so that adds to the amount of possible space.

What they get banned for lol??

What they get banned for lol??

Basically, they had a good view at j.lo, some girl kept pushing them to try and see. They told her to back off, but she kept on to the point she swung on one of them. The bouncers caught her and threw her ***** out . My boys go outside and she's waitin with security and a group of goons, talkin about they grabbed her booty and punched her in the kidneys. Security held them in Ceasars jail for 40 mins while they reviewed the tape, saw nothing but still gave them the boot for a year

for what so you can keep paying to park at hotels. especially since everything worth happening is on the strip pretty much? Real rap I think a bike would be perfect =x
yo mrdiesel spearmint rhino spearmint rhino spearmint rhino.

There is no charge to park at any hotel
