First saw Margarita’s fine self in that movie, the invisible with goku. Don’t remember her in much else except for that overrated show “how to make it in america” that nt’ers liked so much.

You gotta see me for this one b. How to make it was great. The acting was cringeworthy tho :lol:
 
The Vince storyline is dope but everything else has been a little weak to this point.

Sandra is the most unlikable character on the show to me, was playing d'angelo barksdale from the get go, was mad that he wouldn't sign his own death certificate on the force for the sake of her story/article. She was using her P just as much if not more than any of the working girls for the sake of her agenda

This ep covered even in the beginning era of porn once they started tracking that IR porn was the big moneymaker like it still is today especially with the private booths and all those white guys wanting to watch bbc ir porn

I liked the pacing of this Show so far, Set things up real nice for next season tho

The mob ties into the prostitute game, The real boom of Porn, the entire NYC police department being corrupt.
 
It's going to be interesting to see how S2 starts with the 7 year time jump tho, 1971 to 1978. Going to see how the 7 years affected a lot of the pimps and prostitutes in s1, some of them may not return i'm thinking. Also interesting to see how much more involved Vince and Frankie get with Rudy and the Gambino Family in 7 years etc.
 
I didn't know season 2 was going to jump to 1978. If they do the mob definitely had their hand in those gay sex clubs in lower Manhattan where Paul wants open his bar

I thought he was talking about doing some porn **** himself to continue on his pimping or to be the manager of his stable as they do more movies.
 
Scene this last ep of CC's convo with Clarke Peters aka his pimp mentor was a powerful scene too, you can see CC sees his potential future in his mentor ending up a square after years of Pimping and at the end with the eye contact between him and Lori
 
I would love to explore the corruption of NYC in the 70s more. The pimping is just the tip of the iceberg.

Seems writers/creator may be eager to get to the death of pimping as they knew it and to the preamble to the crack era.
