Yea Stannis will play a big role.  Other than that Robb, Arya, Bran, Tyron, Jon, and Catelyn willplay a big role along with Greyjon (the guy who is always around Robb and is his age).  Renlyn will also have a role and of course Daenyrs is big.

This show is beyond great.

Cersei and that #%@$@ of a son she has.

Tyrion.

Khalessi/Daenerys and the dragons.

Am I tripping or was the naked dude they showed with Cersei in the bedroom in the finale the same dude who King Robert was berating a few episodes back as he was trying to help the King with his armor?

Also isn't she related to him as well?

 

I'm going to cop the 1st 4 books off Amazon right now.

Can't wait for season 2.

He's a Lannister and was his squire at the time.  Let's just say that it's interesting about how "quickly" he received his knighthood.

I did a quick Google search about the casting for Stannis and didn't find anything concrete.  A couple of Game of Thrones fan sites have put up lists of potential candidates, but I think its all completely conjecture at this point.  Nevertheless, just for giggles, here's a link to one of those lists -- http://winter-is-coming.net/2011/02/casting-season-two-stannis/ .  I wouldn't call any of them "big names," at least not in the U.S.  Rufus Sewell was the only one of the names I was immediately familiar with.
