Not much of a difference aside from the price. Save your money and stick with the 120hz.

I need to get a 20 ft HDMI to run from my PC to my Yamaha... They got em for like $18.

They're good to go. I also have wall mounts from them and their pretty good too.

i just upgraded my tv..from 32' Olevia to the 40' TCL. My wall mount only fits a 32-37 in.

Out of the 4 screws thats suppose to go from mount to tv, my mount only reaches the top two holes.
My TV is 35 lbs, you guys think the 2 screws will hold it up?

About to cop that 40" TCL right now, how is it???

pretty sick no complaints at all. Ive had it for like 5 days and I love it.

I was gonna cop that other 42' inch on slickdeals, forgot what brand, but everyone in that thread had mixed reviews on it and suggested this 40' TCL instead.

^No doubt bro. Also,  if you cop..there aint no screws for the wall mount. You'd have to buy the wall mount from TCL or buy the screws at your local hardware shop

I made a post a couple of days ago but didnt help as much as I thought it would. Maybe posting here will get me more answers

CALIBRATION,

Did you calibrate your tv?
I know theres some info online and other websites like CNET and the AVS forums, but I want to know if anyone from Niketalk has calibrated their tv. Any advice?

I currently own a Samsung UN55D6000

My setup.

42" Pansonic Viera. Came with a Blu-Ray player and the surround sound system for an extra $100
Nothing spectacular. I spent almost 9 months without a TV so this was a welcome change from watching movies and such on my laptop.

This is probably common knowledge by most, but if you're looking for great tv deals sign up at SlickDeals.net, and in the deal alerts area type in what brand or tv size you're looking for.
You'll get immediate email alerts when stuff gets posted.

My Harmony 880 has been dying a slow death over the last year... First the volume button wouldn't work, then channels, now its virtually only good for turning on devices and turning them off.

Cant wait to get the Harmony One. $139 on amazon.

Copping for the bedroom, no more 24" CRT in there

I know how that feels. We copped a 40" BRAVIA for $5,500 back then.

joint will be here in the a.m.
The cheapest one you can find that looks fairly durable. Doesn't matter until up to a certain length (since the signal is digital). Check out Monoprice.
Using a $6 3 meter HDMI cable for my PS3 and a $5 1.5 meter mini-HDMI to HDMI cable for my gaming rig. Had been using them regularly for a long while. No problems whatsoever.

For anyone looking for one of the best deals on the market this is it. http://www.audioadvisor.c...rodinfo.asp?number=CAS30These speakers r amazing. And that 219.99 price is for the pair. I picked up a pair for my sons room for Christmas and I'm truly blown away. I would put these up against any $1,000 and under bookshelf or monitor speakers. Clarity superb, great bass depth and articulation and fantastic soundstage. And Im only running them on a simple harman kardon receiver and the source is an iPod classic on an apple iPod dock. These speakers are the truth and an incredible bargain.

Hey im looking for a new tv for my dorm room.. There are two models that im currently choosing between these two models. Problem is I dont know if a 40" would be too big for my single dorm room and the 32" version seems to have more features at a cheaper price..Can anyone help me decide

LG 32" LM6200 $650
-3D(6 pairs of glasses)
-120hz
-internet and built in apps

or

LG 40" LS5700
-built in apps and web
-1080p
-120hz

I'd probably lean towards the 40". I own a passive 3D set (LW5600) and can count the number of times I've used the feature since I purchased it in December. I find a 32" too small for anything I'd watch daily.
