all i can say is, it literally looks like you are looking out of a window. even if you can't afford it now, i recommend everybody just go down to your local Best Buy and look at it. its amazing.

it's supposed to come in in about 3 weeks, i'll make sure to post some pics then.
I saw this TV today.

though, because with sports you want to actually feel like you're there. The clarity of the grass, the lights, the uniforms, etc was crazy. I bet basketball would be amazing too.
Contrast ratio mean NOTHING.

They can damn near what evernumber they want it really has no meaning.

But still I work at best buy and samsung is probably the best LCD we have.

Any one have any first hand knowledge/experience with the Vizio SV470XVT? The specs on it look real good for the price.

I just plan to have it connected to a PS3, DirectTV and the LCD above.

I don't see why not. You don't want something too big ha ha.

It should be an easy plug and play right?
No receiver needed? The system did say it has an HDMI input and output.

Well in that case you may want to find a Sony speaker set with one to be 100% sure.

Ive wanted a flat panel for about 2 years. Finally willing to bite the bullet, but there are just too many choices.

I want a 42 inch, and I really have liked the picture on the Samsungs in the stores. I was convinced I needed LCD, but I see alot of people hyping plasmas. Ijust dont know what to do!

Going to put my tv on the wall (and cables in wall), for those of you who did the same, how did you handle the power cable situation?

anybody have any suggestions on a remote to control 2 tvs (26inch vizio and 42inch vizio LCDs),xbox and directv box? I've looked at the logitech one and imleaning towards but would like to see other (cheaper) options out there. thanks in advance

I do not recommend sony audio equipment. For a small room you should get logitech z-5500. They are cheaper and better than most home theaters
