Officially 2 weeks since my 2nd dose today. Miami here I come! Let's how well this vaccine really works...
Wife and I got the 2nd dose about a month ago and immediately made travel plans, so I know those feels.
So far so good. I guess the true test comes on Tuesday when we get a COVID test for U.S. reentry.

Been about 48 hours since receiving my 2nd Pfizer shot. I was nervous getting it cuz of the side effects I’ve been hearing/reading about. Luckily, wife and I had no effects other than a sore arm. Huge sigh of relief for my family now that we are vaccinated. Regardless, we are still going to continue to be safe especially with SD’s weather starting to get nicer. Hoping it will be somewhat normal when summer hits.

Summer seems like a stretch, its right around the corner. Id say by fall we “should” be in much better shape.

Covid is far from over. The vaccine will be a yearly shot just like a flu shot IMO.
My family and i are going to continue to do our part and practice social distance, wearing masks, avoiding big crowds, etc... I do want to go to Maui for a family vacay but going to wait for the fall to see how everything is first. I swear I’m gonna live off of poke, spam and shaved ice everyday. Lol.

I think when we say were wylin after getting vaccinated its not the same type of wylin pre-covid.

Day after my second dose I was pretty lethargic. Made sure I had the day to myself to not do much. Temperature got to 99.6 but after taking a nap I felt better. 48 hours I was back into my normal routine.

I believe I read some while ago that yearly booster shots are gonna be a thing so I can see that being a reality.

Maybe I'be like this once my kiddo got vaccinated. Until then, my wife and I will still take any precaution even both of us are fully vaccinated.
