I thought about posting an update, but there's not a lot to say.
I returned to Denmark from NYC January 1st. 2020 with pneumonia and have had nerve damage ever since. Spent the last two years trying to find out, if I caught Covid early-early, before we could test and identify cases. Last two months I've been connected to a long covid clinic and while they consider my symptoms to be long covid, they can't really offer anything but occupational therapy. Basically to live healthily and hope it goes away. I've been living with this **** for two years now and consider it to be permanent. I can easily live with the numbness and lack of sensation in my face, fingers and feet, but the internal tremors and great discomfort in my chest, prevents me from sleeping, relaxing and concentrating. I have other health problems, so luckily this doesn't affect me financially, but my quality of life has dropped significantly.
The big positive is that the LC clinic considers my symptoms to be legit, after I spent the last 19 months being dismissed by one MD or specialist after another. My family, who never believed me, finally shut up, after I was accepted by the clinic.
Despite all of this, I'm in a pretty good place.
