My friend is currently stuck in Indonesia (but thankfully she’s at her family home). She wants to come back since her husband is still in Chicago, but she’s also afraid to leave her place/travel during this outbreak. Currently Indonesia has the lowest testing rate in Asia and the highest mortality rate (9.1%). Another country that straight up denied the existence of the virus for three months, despite having so many Chinese-Indonesians and native Indonesians traveling back and forth between Indo and China

it’s hard to get out of the house and not run into groups of people on oahu. took my son to scout some spots this afternoon and we hit some isolated beaches. after catching crabs (not that kind) and cruising around, he didn’t want to go back home to our condo 
i feel for all the parents, especially if you don’t have big yards. my son’s schoolwork, zoom schedule, and the complicated uploads etc (he’s only 7) would drive me crazy. my wife deserves a damn medal.

Parents have Family friends overseas on the Home Island and were advised to postpone coming back Stateside. Retirees so no big deal, bonus that TWN has their stuff together and prob much safer there.

Heard beaches by Mars Estate in Kahala & in Lanikai by the point where Clinton & Obama stayed are very empty.

About 2 years ago, an Uber driver told me homeless in SF should be killed.
I just got off an Uber. The driver was wild, he was talking about ways to reduce homelessness. His ideas were to put them in jail or kill the homeless. I don't know whether to be amused or terrified.

And I definitely won't argue against that, as that's a valid point. And I tend to agree.
But there are varying degrees of tomfoolery that have taken place with our Presidents. And not all of it is equal. So lumping them all together and painting them with a broad brush just seems like a very convenient way of shrugging off this joke of a presidency as "par for the course" (which it is not). As much of a clown as Bush II was, I dare say he'd look brilliant compared to Trumpito when it comes to how he would've approached this pandemic. And that's saying A LOT.
