Add to it for New Orleans and River Parishes- yesterday was my great Aunt 89th birthday. They sent her to my cousin to isolate her.
My cousin called and said she had a plate for me and my 90+ Grandparents that I’m caring for about a month. I said cool I’ll pull up and come to door.
im thinking it’s just her. I pull up and it’s 20 cars in the street and drive way. I look in the window - these folks are having a full blown kick back. Kids running around in the back yard. I called and told my cousin - leave the food at the door. I’m not coming in - went to grab the mask and wipes.
Wiped the bag and containers. They’re laughing and drinking. I just told them - y’all the problem. Y’all not being fair to your grandmother - ridiculous. These grown folks 40-60 years old range.

I had to tell her she was insane. Me and my cousins all work/live in NYC, our parents have all left the city and moved to CT over the years. They asked us to get out of the city literally the day before the stay at home rule was put in place, so I been with them for 3 weeks, haven't been near the city since. On the other hand, my aunt, uncle and cousins have been in and out of NYC probably every week since then.
Had to let them all know, I love y'all but I'm not doing any dinner with y'all for Easter and I had to literally drive it into my parents heads that they can't do this, so Easter is cancelled over here
