I heard dudes who go to NY for temp work as a nurse are clearing around 20k a month. What’s This I hear about a 25k bonus hazard pay for front liners? Booooiiiiii that won’t heal the wound we have suffered, but it would def help more than the current 1200$ most healthcare front liners won’t even see.
Word. This generalization is really offensive.Says who?

that is wild
I said A lot, not the whole, not all, and not majority. But again, lets keep this thread on COVID19 and you can debate me in the Asian culture thread if you feel slighted by my comment.Says who?
I'm curious if companies will end up including some form of hazard pay to keep their businesses afloat.
Don't know how financially efficient that would be, but would interesting when/if they to improve the economy.

tiger moms everywhere. Yes it’s a sweeping stereotype but just anecdotally I’ve met a lot of older folks like this
the doctor/astronaut/army special ops dude isn’t helping
This reminds me of a point that should be noted. Ask yourself, why did the WH classify early coronavirus information/intelligence and all corona taskforce meetings? And was this a proper use of the classification authority in the first place?
Sen. Peters proposing 'hazard pay' for essential workers who can't stay home
U.S. Sen. Gary Peters, D-Michigan, is proposing “hazard pay,” a raise of $13 per hour, for health care professionals, grocery store workers, first responders, pharmacists, postal workers and others whowww.theoaklandpress.com
Not sure if posted but going to be VERY interested what segment of folks this applies to. Article mentions several professions but there are ones clearly left out (financial services, gas stations, etc).
yeah, i gotta see how this bonus would be passed out. I don't want to say anything else without sounding like a ****.
Interesting points. had pants how do you respond?
I'm going to copy and paste my response from the Asian Culture thread:
"I think this is more of a commentary to not judge others based on their occupation alone.
Well what you say is true "education, opportunity, and financial success" are all interlinked, it shouldn't define who you are or how much you contribute to society, or your character.

Whats the point if you have a Ferrari but you never help out your fellow man?
Also you're assuming the other mom is White, which she may be. But I know the cartoon is Korean, so I would be confused how a korean artist would want to make a moral statement with a white mother and child."
Interesting interpretation.
I took it as don't look down upon people.
Props for at least thinking about the cartoon message.
And don’t get me wrong was just material focused.
