I’ve had this conversation with my coworkers and we’re currently getting paid $2 extra but I feel like it should be more. Yes it’s nice and definitely appreciated but at the back of my mind it still gets to me that we’re risking our lives everyday we come into work. Now idk the full situation with nurses and doctors but they for sure should be making their regular pay plus hazard because they are definitely front line, overworked, and under paid especially during this situation.

Y’all should be getting ot pay at the very least y’all deal with so many people and the owners making bank chicken wing prices doubled to every time I go to the store **** goes up a dollar

Yeah I have noticed my jobs prices have gone up. Money hungry piece of ****s. Yo what gets me is the fact that there’s still a lot of people. It’s definitely slowed down a bit but people are still coming in and obviously they gotta eat but there’s still a lot of people. That’s why I wish we could just setup the shopping like the way Best Buy does it. Just send in all orders online and drive thru pickup. This way all I really have to worry about are my coworkers but I know that ain’t happening because corporate dgaf about **** besides $$$$.

Quarantine done. Still can’t smell/taste. Back to work!

heard a cool thing in CNN. in germany they can maximize their testing capabilities by combining 10 samples into 1 and running a test. if it tests positive, then they test them each individually. if it tests negative, then they can assume all 10 are negative.

the exact algorithm could be tailored to the pre-test probability (the prevalence in the region and whether the subjects are symptomatic). so even if you are limited in the # of tests you could greatly increase how many people you could test.

I heard that Germany counts their death differently and is the reason why it's so low. They actually determine whether a person die because of rona and whether a person die with rona. Trying to find a link for this because I heard it from a video.

California positive cases are stable I guess. Not going up much or going down. However, the deaths are increasing.

Bert. Bert.

Heard the extra 600 rolling out this weekend. Starting the 10th. Automatically. So you should be good then bro.

I think it's pretty fair.. People packing up their lives to go help others in time of need. going to ground zero where they got tons of cases, unfamiliar surroundings, New hospitals, co-workers, different equipment/machines, different medical record documentation, risking their lives. not an easy gig
its not fair that folks who are already working there are earning less for the same risk
