Me personally, I'm with the don't ask don't tell. Usually you can pick up on if a girl had a promiscuous past without her telling you by her actions and behavior. Kinda like how you can tell if a girl had a father in her life or not.

Theres nothing that you gain by finding out if someone of the opposite sex has a high/low body-count.
I believe that a lot of us think body count is the leading indicator of a less desire-able/poor significant other; it isn’t. Theres a prolly a correlation, but not a causation.
If you couldn't tell the other person has piss-poor decision making skills or isn’t your ideal person from various convos, then ya’ll not paying attention.
Bird-behavior is easy to spot, you don’t need a body count to make you feel secure in your decision to be with someone.
- If it’s low then
- They might be inexperienced
- They might be lying
- They might be at the ideal (for some)
- They might not like sex
- If its high then
- They are over-experienced (for some)
- They might be the ideal (for some)
- They get viewed as promiscuous (to some)
- They might like sex

Current mentality, loyalty, devotion and nothing that will make you insecure is what matters. Of course there's a limit to where mentality is off, but that's up to you to feel out.

I don't know about yall, but I need to know about any potential red flags that may arise in the duration of a relationship. I can't fault anyone for their past, but at the same time I'm not gonna pretend that it ain't happen. For me, i can't be with no chick that's been ran through. It's not a judgement against that person, just my preference.

You're right. I just always assumed this was a normal thing to discuss in the courting process. I got turned down once because I was a virgin. It hurt when it happened, but I didn't think she was out of bounds for doing so. Maybe I'm just old school in that regard, but i figure if you're exploring compatibility with potential mate history plays a factor.

It’s not a taboo subject but it’s been seen as somewhat an immature question to ask. I agree with the STD and kids aspect but you still won’t know the actual truth (people lie all the time about simple things). You can tell if a chick has some miles on her from her sex game.
