HOLIDAY 2021 - Cool Grey 11

I bought 2 pairs of Concords and Playoffs on the last retro but ended up selling the extras during the Last Dance boom and the fact I barely wear them to justify having multiples. Will just buy one of these.

Here’s a cheat sheet, “original” or “og” for the following models can only be referred to the following years. I’m sticking with the Bulls era to cover the ground here:

1: 1985-86
2: 86-87
3: 87-88
4: 88-89
5: 89:90
6: 90-91
7: 91-92
8: 92-93
9: 93-94
10: 94-95
11: 95-96
12: 96-97
13: 97:98
14: 1998

if the Jordan retro release in question was NOT worn during the above season/year, then it’s not an original colorway.

*ive always flopped back and forth on the space jams being originals as those obviously weren’t released during the 1995-96 season originally, however as everyone knows they were worn then as PE and movie shoes, so y’all can fight on that one lol

Every other retro ever it’s pretty cut and dry though

Let’s take it back to the last drop…His Airness…

It goes as follows.

1. Space Jam
2. Cool Grey
3. Concord
4. Playoffs.

I know you and I have had our differences, and recently, we've managed to hash things out because of the dating thread in General. But I disagree with this list, playa 🤣

1. Playoffs
2. Space Jams
3. Cool Greys
4. Concords

I’m so sorry y’all! Didn’t mean to spark this debate

But just need my 1 pair and i’ll be happy. (and hopefully done with 11’s unless they do a DMP pair or something cool.

My only pair of 11’s that aren’t OG are my 72-10 and i NEVER wear them  that patent leather cut is disgusting after having the newer molds.

I guess a better distinction is OGs vs. shoes he actually played in. To me, the ones he played in are better than many of the other OG colorways he never hooped in.

So that’s why the cool grey colorway gets lumped in as an OG colorway to me. But points have been made.
